The Earth and Some 2 Lunatics

Earth Hour

So... Earth Hour was yesterday. Haha. Of course it was. What a lame way to start an introduction.

(Note to self: Need more practice. Write more essays maybe?Sheesh.)

Anyway, yeah so how was it for you guys? Did you all camped in the dark or you just could't care less? Haha.To tell you the truth, I didn't expect much from my family although I was supportive of the idea of 'conserving the energy'. But lo and behold, the lights in my house were switched off for an hour thanks to my youngest sister. How she'd managed to persuade my grandma is beyond me but kudos to her. I was out shopping for groceries with my mother at Tesco where I bumped into one of my friend's family members who also took part in the 60 minute campaign. "We switched of the lights and left the house," said my friend's mom. Well, good on you Aunty!
(Note to Dr Penyu: It was your mom hehe). My other sister was out celebrating this total darkness day with her buddies at a field or something. One of her friends couldn't go out (ahem...protective parents hehe) so they decided to hangout at a field near the friend's place and ordered Domino's! Ain't that sweet.

Year 1 Sem 2

Well, so far so good as far as studying is concerned. I am not overly stress or anything although the thought of having exams in 2 weeks time and a possibility of failing a subject(or more) is there. No! No! Must stay positive. Perserverance will be rewarded with success! Okay, where did that come from? Must be the caffeine. I haven't had breakfast actually and it's already 9.35 am. So passed my breakfast time. Haha.

A couple of my friends (yes, I don't have that many friends haha) have also been really busy which means we didn't get to hang out as much. So most of the time I lepak with this crazy friend of mine, Miss Kedah. This girl has quite a lot of interesting but not necessarily beneficial ideas in her head which I have no problems complying to. Haha.

We actually walked from our campus back to our hostel. Ok, sounds so ordinary right? Well, it took us 2 hours. Yeah...who would've thought Desaria was that far. It was fun despite the the Sun's powerful glare and the rain's warm droplets pouring down on us. Luckily we both had umbrellas. We also stopped at Kedai Leha where Miss Kedah bought popsicles for the both of us and we had them in the rain underneath our umbrellas of course. (Note: The only reason she belanja me was because they merely cost a few cents. Haha) And of course we got 'publisiti murahan' from Taxi Uncles and 'Lori sampah'. They must think we're lost or crazy or something because we were the only ones walking beside the road.

But it was really fun la. We even saw wild animals, a biawak and a small cicak with a very long tail(lol...wild?) in the drain. Now, you can't possibly encounter a- soon- to- be- endangered- species- in- god- knows- how- many- years- time if you take the bus can you? By the way, the biawak had a really funny way of running. Totally erm... unique. Ok, let's not insult the reptile. It's not like I can do a catwalk(Irrelevant, I know).

It's OK

It's okay if she doesn't like me. I like her.

I HATE...

STREAMYX at the moment. Hehe. It's been what? 3 weeks already since I can't go online. 'Harap maaf. Kami sedang mengalami kemerosotan di kawasan Lembah Klang etc...' Sigh. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I so want to post pics of IKEA's furniture. Haha.

PS: I'll make sure I'll make full use of my RM 500 resource fee by going to the lab as often as
possible
