Sweet Temptation

Temptation. A sneaky word. It exudes endless amount of excitement with a hint of guilt and misery at the end. It is akin to the sweetness of chocolate with a bitter after taste. You want to have it. Taste it. Lick it to its core. YET, you also do know that you might or will (depending on the gravity of the situation) feel guilty afterwards when you’re done (let’s pretend you have diabetes). The thought lingers in your mind like a fly that refuses to die. What will you do? Smack the sneaky bug? Or let it live and terrorize you? Should you or should you not grab that cunning chocolate?

This post was inspired by the movie ‘Too Young to Marry’ that was shown on 8tv last Thursday. Jessica was a young wife who got acquainted with a guy at her university. Long story short, she grabbed the ‘chocolate’ but only managed to kiss it. She did not strip the chocolate naked. She got back to her senses. She smacked the fly thanks to Mom.

Whether you’re married or not, there will always be temptation. The trick is to recognize it for what it is and avoid it’.

Best check the expiry date before anything else.

Squashed Cuppies

-FUN FACT-

The term 'cupcake' was first mentioned in E. Leslie's 'Receipts' of 1828,
a time when
the tradition of measuring ingredients by weight was giving way in the US to measuring them in cups -the world wide gourmet

Cupcake Chic cupcakes. They were unfortunately squashed on the way home.

Nevertheless, they remained irresistible.

Assisting the assistant

My mother is currently an assistant teacher at a private kindy in Ampang. While she was supposed to be the one who is doing the assisting, it is her daughters who are now assisting her as she calls herself 'uncreative'. And so we cut, drew, and pasted our way through.

Each child has their own folder

Labeling of activities

My mother would be leaving soon however, as the kindergarden actually
does not have license to operate. Yikes!
