Hit Me Baby One More Time!

Once again I have driven my mom's 'baby' car into yet another mishap. I say 'baby' because the Viva is barely a year old. Sigh.Poor child. Barely a year old and already it has scars and now dents all over its body. I bet the car would've committed suicide by now if it was a living thing. But then again, who knows? Maybe it has grown immune to bumping into poles, walls and other cars. It's like a game of football. The players know what they're in for whenever they trod on to the field. Injuries are bound to happen but of course they would want to avoid them if possible. Same goes to yours truly here. But sigh... luck was not on my side and so the 'baby' had to suffer -yet again.

This most unfortunate event started after my short yet stressful visit to Ampang. After dropping my mother at the LRT station near our residence(haha...sounds like I live in a very posh area but no I don't), I drove to Ampang Point with my sister to get some vitamins. This is where the whole thing starts. Nope, not the accident but this was how my seemly good day turned into a not so good day. The place was PACKED LIKE CRAZY! A lot of cars were coming in but none where going out! It's like the Muslims pilgrimage to Mecca I tell you(Haha okay maybe not). I kept hoping and praying that there will be a parking space but there weren't any! Thanks to the massive jam I was rewarded with a headache. Great! Just what I need. And the schorching sun didn't help much either. Thank you green house gases.

After making a few rounds aka tawaf I gave up and decided to head back home. Since my sister was having a sort of allergy on her finger we decided to stop at the clinic near our home. Aha! Now this is where it starts. I was happily driving at a very normal speed...not too fast and not too slow...60km/hour when I finally reached the T-junction. I had to make a right turn so I waited as there was another car infront of me who also wanted to turn right. Once the car infront of me turned, I turned as well because I was pretty sure that I did not see any incoming vehicle on the other lane. And then it happened. As I was turning, a blue and redish object loomed in front of me and hit my mom's car on the left side. Thank God it wasn't that bad and my sister was okay. It was sort off like a bump but of course it wasn't just a bump for the car. The car was pretty dented on the left side.

Anyway, after the accident I found a parking spot so I parked the car and what do you know the taxi driver came and asked 'So macam mane ni?' I was just blank. I tell you I was shaking like mad! or in Skipper the penguin's word 'I was shaking like a leaf'. Hehe. He kept asking how I wanted to solve this problem and I was like clueless. ' Tak tahu... saya tak pernah kene accident' Lol. And so he said 'Call la u punya abang ka ayah ka mak ka'. So I did and when my mom answered I couldn't say a word because if I did tears would come rolling down my cheeks. So I gave the phone to my sister. After my mom negotiated with the taxi driver I payed him RM 100. When I think about it. I don't really think he deserves the 100 bucks because his taxi was still ok. It was my mom's car that looked pretty bad. But he said he would need to replace the bumper with a new one or something so I just payed him to close the subject.

'Jangan bawak laju-laju' Excuse me? Who was driving laju-laju la uncle? But of course I didn't said anything because I was still shaking. I burst into tears right after I entered the car. My sister went to the clinic but there were a lot of people so she retreated back to the car. After a few minutes, I turned up the radio and drove back home. Nope Britney's song was not on the air waves. Imagine if it had.

Grabbed the Art

The Art for Grabs event yesterday was somewhat plain yesterday compared to the first one which was held earlier this year. There weren't a lot of people around probably
because it was the second day of the event which really is a blessing because
I didn't have to wade through a massive crowd. None of the handmade
items really caught my eye except for the bunny and cat plushies.
Hehe. I'm not really a fan of plushies but these ones looked
cute and would probably fetch a hefty price.
Okay, maybe not that hefty. Items are sold below
RM100 at this event but I'm not the type of person who
splurges on all these 'cute stuff'.
I only splurge on food (only under certain circumstances).
Haha. But I did bought 2 items anyway.
One, for myself and another
for a friend's sister.

by Ciyou Handmade

I bought this purse from Ciyou Handmade for RM 12.
Not bad.

The inner part

And a pair of ear rings for myself.
They were cheap so I bought a pair.
RM4.
Yeah, I know my camera phone sucks.
And my editing skills aren't much of a help either.

If you're a fan of the whole hand-made phenomenon then you might wanna check these blogs:
They were some of the many people who participated in the event.

Transported into the Twilight Zone

5 things I like in Transporter 3:
  • The real star of the show, the Audi A8 (what a beauty)
  • The cool stunts that Mr Frank Martin did with the car
  • The camera angles
  • The cool and stylish yet life threatening bracelet
and
  • Natalya Rukakova's hair. But I'm still in love with Olga :)

2-wheeling, baby!

Look me in the eyes you freckled gloom and doom Russian...
erm...Ukrainian

Ah, yes. Her lovely hair.

5 things I like about Twilight:
  • The realistic awkwardness between a father and a daughter
  • The chemistry between the two leads
  • The shot where Bella first saw the Cullens
  • Bella's sense of maturity (She sounds stupid in the book)
  • Kristin Stewart :) Great acting from her.

Eventhough Robert Pattinson wasn't as gorgeous as I expected
him to be but theysure look great together.

Edward when he's not hungry. I think Bella outshines him.

She had so much hair. It looks better tied up.

Love these pics:

Mad - A - Gas - Car (Haha)

Haha...and so I've watche it! Madagascar Escape 2 Africa takes of from where we last see these 4 'New Yorkers'. While the previous movie was about their coming to realization how completely clueless they were about the world outside the zoo or 'The Wild', this second movie is about going back to their roots, in other words - AFRICA.

Alright, let's just cut to the chase. I just love this movie. It's just full of Merapu-ing.Haha. Yes, notice the capitalized 'M'.It's not so much about the storyline but the characters that got me in stitches throughout the movie especially the 4 penguins aka the 'Happy Flappers' - Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private and the ultimate King of Merapu-ness, King Julien. And this movie has a lot of memorable lines that no matter how many times you hear it or repeat it to yourself (haha), laughter would surely proceed afterwards.

My favourite line so was when Skipper told the... I don't know what you call it but I'm just gonna refer it as the 'shaking' doll, haha... you know, those dolls that you put near the dashboard in your car that shakes? Yup, that one... LOL. And yes, back to the line. Skipper said

'Why doll, you're shaking like a leaf!'

I was laughing like hell when that line came out! Their plane was crashing so of course the doll thingy was shaking like mad. And the fact that he called the thing 'Doll' makes it a hell lot funnier. What's even merapu is the part where the Happy Flappers were negotiating with the 'Higher Mammals' aka the monkeys about maternity leave. It's total merapu-ness I tell you! Aha!There's Skipper's doll...

And they actually got married in the end. LOL. Noticed the duct tape? Poor gal, had too many accidents.
And of course, who can resist King Julien's charm. This guy I tell you is just full of nonsense and as we've seen in the previous movie, is so full of himself. Only in this movie, he goes more beserk. Haha.

"If I had only two days to live, I would invade a neighboring country, and force my ideology on them, whether they wanted it or not."

A great politician in the making.

But he looks weird without his crown though.
Never mind let him be King. Just imagine if he joined our Sidang Parlimen.

'Yang Berhormat Julien, tarik balik Yang Berhormat...'
'Sila duduk Yang Berhormat...'

Ahahaha...
He'll be dancing in the Dewan Rakyat.

'I like to move it, move it!'
